bought over a year ago had new ice maker put in a month ago and this one has already stopped as well. So much for not using plastic bottle water you can thank companies like LG for crappy ice makers

In 2017 we bought another very popular brand 23 cu.ft. refrigerator that we should have been happy with. It was a disaster. The in-the-door ice dispenser meant having the ice maker in the refrigerator. After replacing the ice maker and all its component parts that refrigerator is now in the garage to store drinks. The replacement was the LG 27 cu.ft refrigerator with the ice maker in the freezer and the drink dispenser in the refrigerator. Couldnt be happier. More space for food Better storage organization with shelves and drawers. Bigger vegetable storage bins. More freezer space. And no more painful experiences with reliability like our not so old other brand refrigerator. LG is the best.

I bought this four months ago along with a cooktop microwave double oven and dishwasher. The dishwasher leaks on the new wood floor baking in this oven is NOT the same seems like conventional baking is always on and removing finger prints is work. Plus you play hide and seek looking for serial numbers and model numbers. A company this big should be able to figure out a way to get the needed numbers on all that paperwork they hand us. Never again will I purchase LG

Our old LG fridge lasted almost 12 yrs we were very happy with it. This new Counter depth fridge is almost the same model with a few upgrades. Water dispenser inside works great. No button to push with free hand just press glass against lever to get water. Only 2 produce/meat drawers but they are large can hold a lot of food. Even though this is a counter depth fridge it is actually bigger than our old French door fridge. Door shelves are deep can hold a lot. Freezer compartment big enough. Taller than old fridge so deff measure height Love the clean look no finger prints

We bought this LG refrigerator on May 24 2023 and our initial experience has been very good. One little glitch that was not in the operators manual is that the ice maker and the water service will not work if the controls are locked.

I really like the fridge but I have some small complaints: 1 You cant put anything tall on the inside shelves -- they dont adjust enough. However there is room on the door shelves 2 the replacement water filters from LG seem very expensive for what they do. Im not sure if there are off-brand replacements that are cheaper 3 Id prefer if the freezer had some better organization rather than just piling the stuff in there.

We bought this fridge in December 22. We did not get the fridge until late February. It has since broken down twice. The fridge has been broken down longer than we have actually owned it. We are still waiting for the second repair to happen 3 WEEKS AFTER THE PHONE CALL.
100 do not recommend. Their customer servis is also TERRIBLE.

Ive had this refrigerator for a few weeks now and it is nearly perfect. The volume is surprisingly roomy. However unless I remove a shelf completely I cant put a 1.5 L bottle of wine upright. Other than that the space and features are excellent. I like the water dispenser inside the refrigerator. The stainless steel resists fingerprints. Ice Plus mode is easy to enable from the app on my phone. The temperature the lighting everything can be set and monitored on my phone. It is also very quiet. I didnt realize how loud my old refrigerator was until I got this one.

I bought this to replace a 20 year old one that had started to act up and couldnt see putting money in something that old this one is 7 cu ft larger than the old one but fits in the same spot and takes less space I would recommend this product

We bought this LG frig after the Frigidaire we purchased was installed and didnt work it was returned. There are many things to like in the LG Counter Depth French door frig. Its shelves are deep enough to accommodate a 13 pan the lighting is excellent the deli drawer is a huge hit with my family as everything is easy to see and access. The freezer is massive with a bottom bin deep enough for a Thanksgiving turkey and the top drawer which is deep enough to stand up a quart of ice cream pulls out so nothing gets lost. On the downside the drawers are not full extension so there is a bit of space in the back that is hard to access sometimes. The top left door on the frig has a self close mechanism which causes it to slam if you dont hold it open which is not pleasant. We have had this unit since December and have had no problems. I would purchase this again but next time I would get the single door rather than French door personal preference.

The compressor died on this fridge after 13 months. We had a repairperson to the house and they could not believe the fridge died already. We are having it repaired because we bought the warranty which makes the repair free but its going to be weeks to get the part. We were just told LG would have the part to our repair company in 10 business days.... Looks like well be living out a cooler for the next few weeks. If we did not have a warranty Id be getting my money back. What a disaster. Thanks LG

I shopped at the local appliance store not big box and was so happy I did. The salesperson was very well informed answering my many questions as to reliability cost size materials used. I am happy to have chosen a highly rated LG. It has a great shelf and bin arrangement and plenty of both. I do like the deeper door bins though the tiny bins on the lowest part of the doors are a bit odd but who knows what I may stash there in the future? As I am the primary user of the water dispenser I am just fine with the interior dispenser location and I like the clean outer appearance and appreciate the added interior space. I also like the ice dispenser in the drawer- neater easier to reach and no reaching down a chute to clear ice. So far very happy with my purchase

We bought this refrigerator as part of a kitchen remodel. Were quite pleased with it so far and it looks great in its new home. We chose the countertop depth model as we didnt want it occupying a ton of space. The fridge is laid out well and there is a lot of internal space. Of all the brands and models that we looked at LG seems to have thought through how to make a shallower fridge while maximizing space for everything.

We only had this refrigerator for a week. It doesnt cool AT ALL or freeze AT ALL It stays room temperature. We tried to return it - LG and HOME DEPOT wont take it back. We are into a month now using an ice cooler as a frig. Its been almost a month without a working refrigerator.

We are happy we bought this counter depth refrigerator. It has amazing capacity in both the freezer and crisper drawer. The icemaker is located in the freezer and that leaves extra room in the main compartment and especially the doors. With the water dispenser in the main compartment we dont have to contend with water in the outside door opening and on the floor as with in door dispensers. Ice maker puts out plenty of ice in a day. Would recommend this unit to anyone that is thinking about needing extra space and eliminating the in door water and ice dispenser.

My first new refrigerator in 25 years and I was impressed that a counter depth unit has as much capacity as my old standard depth unit. It runs very quiet and keeps everything at a cnsistent temperaure not to mention the energy savings over my old unit.

After two years our LGs compressor died. Its been weeks of confused phone calls and now they say they PLAN on soon sending the parts Weeks of delay no explanation. I am a landlord who buys lots of fridges and NEVER will buy another LG anything

I have had an LG refrigerator before and this one is great. Size is marvelous look and finish just great. One issue was ice maker made great ice and lots but ice tasted terrible New frig new filter water tasted fine. We just got a new ice maker so time will tell if that fixes the issue. That is why only 4 stars for a brand new refrigerator.

Ive had this fridge for about a month now and so far Im loving it. It has a ton of space in the doors and it looks great. I really like the handle on the freezer drawer I think its easier to open than most and the filtered water dispenser on the inside is fantastic because I dont need a pitcher anymore and I dont have to sacrifice an entire door shelving like I would with other fridges that have the dispenser on the outside.

Weve had this refrigerator almost six months now and are very happy with it. I was afraid it wouldnt provide adequate space like my old refrigerator because of the way the shelves are set up in this one but I love it and it actually gives me more space for items on the door and in the drawers. The French doors are perfect I love that we dont have a full door to be opening up each time. Would definitely recommend this brand and style.

Was forced to buy counter-depth vs std 27 cu ft b/c delievery
people refused to move a 28 1/2 depth refrig through a 29 door opening. Payed $100 more but figure meh solves uncooperative movers. but this has narrow shelves inside and huge door shelves -- would have preferred deeper shelves and less door shelf area.
Also learned this one uses older 4-piece-moving compressor design vs newer single-piece-moving so hoping it is as reliable for longer haul.
Temp control is very good like all LGs. Oh the std 27 cu ft has multi-flow vs this filter flow and would have liked to have had that as well.
Lighting is very good inside. Havent hooked up water line yet but expect that will all go well as other LG I have.

I love my LG Refrigerator. The features I like include the fingerprint resistance you can open inside drawer when having only one door open many models have the drawers going all the way across so both doors must be open to pull open drawer and I prefer the water/ice not being in the door. It is just a cleaner look and the ice is more easily accessible vs. trying to get it to dispense through the door.

Film that provides print proof feature was damaged within 2 months and LG refused to cover it under warranty. Dont pay the extra money for this. Cooling temps arent great I think do to the THIN feature

This refrigerator was purchased after much research. It holds so much more than our previous counter depth refrigerator. The interior water dispenser works for us and gives a clean outside appearance. I gave it four stars because it was delivered with a small ding on one door and am in the process of having the door replaced. The LG rep has been very helpful.

I shopped everywhere looking for that perfect new refrigerator. I love how much can fit into this refrigerator. I have 3 crispers now and it makes my life so easy. I always thought that it was a must have ice and water in the door. Not any longer. The water is tucked away nicely inside of the refrigerator.
