Love my new 22 cubic foot refrigerator

This is the best refrigerator I have ever owned and I am retired so I have owned many other brands over my lifetime. The fridge space is set up in a way that seems larger than my last fridge of the same size and also allows easy access to every corner The interior lighting is very good and with my eyes is greatly appreciated. The Insta View window provdes a quick view of contents and also provides quick access to frequently used items stored behind the Insta View door without opening the entire door providing energy savings. Two ice makers are also a nice feature and we have not run out of ice like we did with our other fridges. This is great for entertaining and my wife who makes fresh brewed ice tea almost daily. Plenty of room in the freezer. The display panel is intuitive and the ThinQ technology provides info on my iphone which is a nice feature to have. The exterior with the well designed display panel ice/water dispenser and Insta View door has enhanced the overall look of our kitchen. This is a great refridgerator and I wholeheartedly recommend this fridge to anyone.

Customer service is zero stars. Called and spoke to three people and nothing finally a manager and we stated that after a fridge runs for a week we are to break the welds I screw the mounted drip pan to clean it then weld it back making sure we are careful to keep the system sealed when we do this and reattach the drip pan. The leaking of the poisonous gas is standard. Its a butane gas that lag seems to think is okay for humans to breath.

Compressor Failed After 2 Years

I bought this unit 2 years ago and the compressor failed the day before we hosted Thanksgiving. Outside of that it is a decent fridge but reliability is a huge concern. Luckily I purchased the Home depot Extended warranty and they covered the repair.

I really like the door in door feature. I love keeping the stuff that my kids grab in the door. Obviously you cant keep everything in it but definitely enough. The interior seems quite roomy to me. I really like the icemaker for the outside water/icemaker in the door also I dont love the way the drawers open. You have to pull from the bottom of the drawer. Seems awkward to me. I did have a problem with frost building up in the freezer. I put in a service request with LG and they have been really good. Quick responses and sent a guy out within a few days. The service guy said it was not installed properly so the freezer was not sealing. He made some adjustments and the frost is slowly decreasing. Im a little reluctant to say the issue is 100 resolved until the frost is completely gone. Maybe another day or 2 since it was thick? But it does seem definitely better. I feel better knowing that LG stands behind their warranty and will promptly take care of problems.

Love the extra space in the freezer because of the In the Door Ice Maker and the extra ice it makes that drops down into the freezer bottom tray. This refrigerator has a great look and runs very quiet. The Door in the Door feature is also something we like and makes retrieving everyday common items a little easier and more energy efficient.

The most user friendly fridge Ive owned

I bought this fridge as part of a remodel of a townhouse. It is the perfect size for city living and has all the features I could wish for. The in door cupboard is far more useful than all the smart panels Ive had on previous fridges. The smart diagnostic is great for trouble shooting. I wish it had 2 freezer drawers rather than 1 but other than that its pretty close to perfect for a city kitchen.

I bought the refrigerator 2 years ago. The compressor and circuit board broke down. I had a broken refrigerator for 4 months during the summer. They sent 6 technicians to the house and replaced the parts twice. I had to call customer service every week and on the hold for hours. The worst experience I would never buy an LG product again. I was mistaken and thought they were superior products.

Love the Insta-View Door

Who WOULDNT want a fridge with a see-through door where you can see exactly what you might be interested in pulling out of the fridge? It is so handy and convenient. And it has a huge cool factor Weve only had it for a couple of weeks so it would be hard to comment on anything related to durability. We just hope it doesnt have the cooling issues that weve read about in some of the reviews for LG refrigerators.

Never knew I needed two ice makers

Bought this about a year ago - second time buying almost this same model. It has worked flawlessly. Having the second ice maker in the freezer drawer has been more useful than I thought it could be. The see through door that I thought was kind of gimmicky has actually been one of my favorite features. Nice to quickly pull something out of that door.

I bought this about a year ago. It has been great. I is looks great and operates well. Ive had an issue with the freezer no defrosting properly. It turned out the seal was not grabbing on and sealing well. I had to do a manual defrost and a technician reformed the seal. I have to clean it regularly and make sure it seals on every close. Not convenient.

Wow what a Dishwasher...I got it yesterday to complete my product bundle. My kitchen truly looks amazing. The Dishwasher so far is the best I have ever owned. Easy WiFi set-up and can program when your not at home. The features on this unit are to many to say in this review. The steam and wash was incredible as well as dishes dry and ready to put away without wiping them off before you put them away. I give LG props for the quality and innovation of its products. They are amazing and incredible. I will be purchasing a washer and dryer from LG in the next 6 months due to the quality and reviews. I can tell you how much I love this product bundle it did not disappoint me it shocked me on the quality and performance. I would not but from and other distributors only LG

Flawed design in freezer

I bought this refrigerator last year and basically pleased with it. But the freezer drawer leaves a lot to de desired. The drawer in the freezer that holds the ice does not come out all the way which makes grabbing freezer items difficult to get to. I was unable to see this model in the store but did see the regular depth and thought it would be the same. So Im letting the buyer beware.

Had this frig now for about 2 yrs and overall no issues. food stays fresher longer than my old frig and having 2 ice makers is great for warmer days and parties my only grip is I had dents and knicks here and there from the delivery people but I did get compensated for that and that isnt LGs fault

My refrigerator is 9 months and it is horrible. I just had to have a major fan assembly AND main circuit board replaced. There is something wrong with a refrigerator this young so it will probably happen again after my 1 year warranty is over and LG says there is nothing they can do. Save yourself DO NOT BUY

I really like this refrigerator. The cooling system works exactly like it should. The dual ice maker is fabulous and leaves plenty of freezer space. Wasnt sure Id use the door in door restore but we find it surprisingly convenient. The best part - the amount of space in the refrig. I purchased a vegetable divider for after school snack that clear and I asu to grab and an egg holder for 18 eggs and we still have tons of room. Its a must for a family of boys or people who entertain.

Fits the Space

I bought this refrigerator about a month ago primarily because it was one of the only ones that would fit the space in my kitchen until I remodel. I do like the easy access door for frequently used items but the shelves are not adjustable limiting their use. The indoor ice maker frequently stops dispensing ice. Not because its not making ice but because the arm that moves the ice into the dispensing chute isnt long enough. I constantly have to open the icemaker and redistribute the ice. Its a good refrigerator if you dont need a lot of storage space.
