I was a little bit leery about purchasing a washer with a agitator; however, I am extremely thankful and elated I got this Speed Queen. For the 3 months since it arrived, I use it daily and sometimes 2-3 times daily. I'm telling you this machine is AWESOME. This is so much better than the previous (brand I won't mention) washer I had for 12 years. I'm just so grateful Mark Wright with The Appliance Place recommended it to me. One more thing. It doesn't get that awful odor so many washers get these days. That along makes it so worth having. I LOVE IT!!!

Purchased of a Speed queen was recommended by my plumber who attempted to repair my Maytag washer after dying after 35 years of use. This machine is just as good as the Maytag and the guys are similar to my Maytag. In fact I believe this Speedqueen was bought out by Maytag. Simple machine, none of the fancy electronics that burn out after a few years. This machine will outlive my usefulness.

My old washer was a middle-grade Maytag, and had done well for 14 years, but when I needed a new one, I wanted it to be the last washer I ever buy. Thus I bought Speed Queen. It is made in the USA and is made with metal parts. So it should outlive me. It is easy to operate, handles bulky items without getting off-balance, and runs very quietly. Very pleased with this purchase, and even though it may be a bit more expensive than some others, it is worth every penny.

Water valve shut off malfunctioned and flooded the first floor and down into basement Failure of a $20+ plastic part. I was assured there were no plastic parts in this machine when I purchased it. Cost $3000 and I was home when the flood happened so had flood service there within 90 minutes. Machine repair for $20 part $ $300. Otherwise machine works well!

I called Speed Queen warranty who sent out a technician. The Technician found that the motor had seized. He suggested I call where I'd purchased the machine. They had a 30-day return policy. I returned it & am now on my second "new" machine... My original washer, identical to this one, lasted seven years. I still believe Speed Queen makes the best washing machine available, based on my first purchase in 2017.

I've never used a Speed Queen washer before and purchased one on the advice of a friend. I am VERY pleased with its durability, ease of use, no lid lock (old wasing machine had electronic lid lock that malfunctioned frequently) and good cleaning ability. I also wanted an old-fashioned agitator that cleans clothes better than the low/no agitator.

I wanted to offer some idea to those who may get a fill time out error. That happened to us! We had the Speed Queen guy out and what you need to know is the machine was dine but we have many shut off valves in our basement in case of a pipe issue. One was a lever type shut off and although the house water pressure was where it is supposed to be, we failed to realize that one lever valve was not fully opened which slowed the flow to the washer causing the fill error!! So as a result that was on us so it cost us the fee for the guy to come check it and they have to call Speed Queen who then goes through a list of things with the repair guy to see if it is a warranty issue which it is not. Thus far the machine is flawless. It is so efficient and spins so good it dries in less time! My only caveat is that it was costly and I was very dismayed that reviews on FB for the machines after I got it were not as they once were in lieu of how parts and appliances are made these days. I hope and pray that issues will not be the new norm simply because of the times we live in! Otherwise we love this machine this far. Time will tell! Hooe this helps if you get a fill error.

I bought this washer in April 2021 or 22. Has been a good washer until one day it wouldn't do anything. It took me 5 weeks to get something done in which is only because I loaded up the washer and took it to the place I bought it and raised cane. No I wouldn't recommend your company to anyone else. Good washer until you need some warranty work done. Here I am 6-8 weeks out and still no washer. It's ridiculous I'll never purchase another one of your products ever again! I will also be leaving reviews on every social media website and the better business bureau website as well warning others about your company

Speed Queen has been my family's "go-to" brand for washers and dryers since the 1960s. I purchased this same Model number in 2010 for another location and am 100% pleased with it. I thought with the Model number being the same, that I was getting a model like my 2010 washer, but the only feature that is the same is the Model number! My current purchase was to replace my previous set (Maytag) which was 47 years old, and necessitated when an irreplaceable part on my dryer failed. Example of dissatisfaction: When I run a load of tee tops on permanent press cycle in my 2023 washer I get a soggy mess at the end of the cycle and either have to run a spin cycle to further press out the water, or double my drying time. I'm stuck with this set that I purchased in May and for which I finally was mailed instructions in October. If you are familiar with the Speed Queen's of 2010 don't expect to be pleased with the 2023 or later models.

I'm not sure I can truly express my excitement over this washing machine. I've been babysitting my other machine for about a year after having multiple service calls on it. It finally went to the curb. I've spent months gathering specs and reviews on about 20 different washers in an Excel spreadsheet only to decide that they were all garbage and would basically just replace what I had with the same thing. But then I had a Speed Queen recommended by a friend. It took a bit to get over the sticker shock but I finally decided it was worth a try. If it really lasts as long as they say, then it will be well worth it. I've had it for about 30 days now and done many loads of laundry (I've done extra because I could). This machine works like the machines from 20 years ago. It actually fills with water, has an agitator, and no lid lock. The agitator hasn't torn up any of our clothes and I can actually feel the difference when I take the washed clothes out. They're brighter and definitely cleaner. It may be a little noisier than my old machine, but I honestly don't even notice. It washes loads quicker than my dryer dries them. It's just a washing machine, doing what it should be designed for, washing and rinsing and spinning. No whistles and bells that are just something to break. It's awesome!
