I like induction cooktops and multiple Oven features so much that I purchased TWO induction ranges. My only complaint is that in both applications, there is no relief in the back of the range to accommodate the very large plug assembly. Consequently, a large, difficult-to-close space remains between the cooktop and the backsplash. Even the backsplash add-on, advertised as "universal", attaches to the wall instead of the stove.I love the variety of burner sizes and the bridged burners. There are so many different oven modes that I haven't even tried them all yet, but air fry, baking, and convection features are great.

Have wanted an induction cooking for a while now and so happy we got it! It's beautiful and easy to clean and of course performs wonderfully. But i love the safety features built in to the cooktop. You turn it on, place a pan on a burner and only then does it turn on the burner. Move the pan off and after a few minutes the burner shuts off. So nice. The oven is an airfrier as well which means with this range I can get rid of other small appliances and free up pantry space all the while cooking faster! Doesn't get much better.

Working great after 3 weeks
essva
6/5/2025
Our range is working well after three weeks. Going from gas to induction definitely takes some getting used to in terms of learning the controls and figuring out the settings we need to cook our usual foods. We have turned off the stove multiple times by accident if water spills or we set something on the front of the cooktop, and have sometimes gotten it stuck on the lock icon without knowing why/how. One issue is that to turn on the oven, it takes multiple "start" commands. Another is that we often use the stovetop for prep/workspace and for setting pans when we pull them out of the oven, so we're trying to learn how best to do that on the induction top. Also having to avoid putting anything on the front of the cooktop is tough! Otherwise, liquids boil fast. Stovetop cooking seems consistent. We haven't used the oven too many times yet, but it seems to heat up quickly. I do wish the clock was visible when the oven or the timer are on. My biggest problem is the drawer at the bottom - it is SO shallow it is almost unusable. We used to keep a bunch of pans in the drawer under our old stove and this one cannot hold anything other than a few flat objects- now I have to try to find room for a bunch of skillets elsewhere in the kitchen, and unfortunately we have no other spot that is convenient to the stove or available.

My gas stove of 13 years quit and couldn't get parts(obsolete). Having solar panels and magnetic cookware already, to me it was a no brainer; it does have a learning curve. i.e. lifting pans off element is a no no. I love the range, the oven works like a dream with all the options. Using the induction range you do have to watch a boiling pot because at power boost I almost boiled lid off due to intensity of boil.

This is the second induction range that I have had, and I am again pleased with the performance of induction technology! The Frigidaire compares nicely to another upscale, high end induction range that I have in another house and provides very comparable cooking capabilities. I especially like the Frigidaire's display for the oven operation and think that it is very easy to operate. What I don't like is how the stove top beeps when I rest something on it (such as when I am prepping a meal and using the top as a continuation of my countertop). There is no concern that the stove top will turn on, but it beeps to let me know that something is on it. This is a bit annoying. Other than that, the Frigidaire performs very well and I am pleased with it's performance.

I've been wanting an induction top with convection range for some time, and was thrilled that this one was in budget. Pros - love the fast heating of the induction top; my main "con" is that the top can be difficult to turn on - when I want to turn on a burner I press on the on sensor - and press - and sometimes nothing, but if I gently lean the side of my hands on both sides - it comes on (most of the time). The oven bakes evenly and is true to temperature. The thing I don't like is that when you set the timer - the oven turns off when the timer dings - this is a problem when you like to make cookies because you need to keep turning the oven back on.

Induction is awesome: powerful, fast, instant response. That™™s the only reason for 2 stars. The terrible cooktop touch controls make it nearly unusable. If any moisture hits the control surface (like a drop from a boiling pot, but even residual water after wiping it clean), it turns the entire cooktop off. You must remain within earshot and listen for the warning beep™"or come back to cold pots. It™™s extremely finicky, as well, and I often cannot select a setting directly but must first choose an adjacent setting. (EG, if I want to decrease the setting from 6 to 5, but I can™™t select 5 so I™™ll choose 4 first then I can select 5.) Sometimes it loses its mind and won™™t turn on. ™Factory reset™ doesn™™t help. Turning off the breaker to reset doesn™™t help. Usually it comes back online in 5-10 minutes; recently it was down until the next day. Service technician couldn™™t find a problem and called it ™user error.™ He said to buy the extended warranty. One more thing: it needs a 50 Amp breaker. The manual says that 40 Amp will work (50 is recommended) but it would regularly blow the fuse if more than 1 heating element was used (or with the Power Boost setting). Once I had the circuit breaker changed (I did not need to re-wire, BTW), it was fine. Do not buy this. Even for the really great price. I knew it was finicky before I bought it but thought that would be worth saving $1000. It™™s NOT. Get a stove with actual knobs.

Ongoing Problem an Terrible Customer Support
Cook105
5/25/2025
I am contacting you because the Frigidaire customer support is so bad, I cannot resolve an ongoing problem I™™ve had with one of your products. Please indulge me as I tell you the whole story. In December 2024 I purchased two appliances directly from Frigidaire. These are a dishwasher and an oven with induction range. They were delivered in January but because I had to have major electrical work done to be able to use the range weren™™t installed until late January or early February. I didn™™t keep track of exact dates because I didn™™t expect any issues. Upon first use the range shut off unexpectedly. After checking all the literature that was included with the range and watching your online videos, I couldn™™t discover anything I was doing or cookware I was using that caused the problem. At this point I made my first contact with your customer support. They arranged for a service technician to look at the range. He checked the range but was unable to resolve the issue. He later told me he wasn™™t trained with induction ranges and I should see if customer support could send a different tech. Which I did.At this point, over four months since my first call to customer service I™™ve had at least six service calls and spent over four hours talking or on chat with your customer service representatives. This doesn™™t count one service call that was a no show. On the fourth call I requested that the unit be replaced. On one call I spoke to a supervisor who told me he would begin the process of replacement for the issue was not fixed. He did not. They refused and sent yet another service tech. Some parts were replaced, but another problem accrued. Some burners didn™™t work at all. Another service call fixed that issue, but it went back to the unexpected shut off problem. On my last call with customer support I requested the range be replaced or removed and a refund of the purchase price. They refused this and instead said I would have to have another service call. I have refused any further service calls for what appears to everyone, but your customers support, to be an unfixable problem. This has gone beyond being an inconvenience. This was the first step in a kitchen remodel that has now been delayed three months. I have had the certified electrician come back and recheck his work, work that was approved by the electrical inspector, at the request of your customer support. What I would like you to do is authorize either a replacement or refund. Customer support claims that they record all calls and chat so if you need to verify any of this please do. I have provided information on the range below as well as my personal contact information. I expect to hear back from you.Range Info.Model: GCFI3060BFDSerial: VF44533342

From the day this range arrived, the cooktop was malfunctioning with an E364 error, which apparently is a sensor issue. This wasn™™t discovered until 48 hours after delivery, which exceeds Lowe™™s return policy. Frigidaire customer service was useless. They refused to replace the range and insisted I needed to schedule a service appointment. The technician was able to easily duplicate the error. However, parts had to be ordered. That was 2 weeks ago. As of today, it has been 6 weeks that the cooktop has remained unusable. Absolute horrible experience from end to end. Frigidaire™™s reputation has plummeted in my estimation

I've had nothing but trouble with the cooktop. Frigidaire sent a tech out and the entire guts under the cooktop were damaged on the right side. Nothing was damaged on the exterior, so this issue started at the factory. Frigidaire will not replace the stove, they want to replace the guts of the cooktop. However, I've had the stove for a month and the replacement parts arrived damaged to the appliance tech. So disgusted! I see I'm not the only "frustrated customer" because when I try to use that to post the review, the name has already been used. Yep, I'm sure it has!

I adore the sleek design and clean lines with no knobs protruding from the front . The induction is amazing and will cook faster than anything I™™ve ever used! I can boil a tea kettle in under two minutes! The air fry and convection bake are my go to options for the oven and there is still some trial and error for honing in on exact time. The built in food probe makes cooking a breeze! The only complaint I have is sometimes the oven function turns on from my standing at the stove but doesn™™t turn the oven on, only the function . Best upgrade to my kitchen renovation!

From day one we have had problems with the touch controls on the induction cook top. We just ran the self clean program for the first time and now the oven or cook top will not function. All it will do is continuously beep and flash error code E164. After being on hold with Frigidaire for over an hour, the only answer that their chat service in India could give is unplug it and plug it back in. We have already done that about 20 times. Once we told them that the only response was contact a service center and pay them to fix it because it's 2 weeks past the lowsy 1 year warranty.

We've only had the range for a couple of weeks, and it has been great. The oven is huge compared to our previous range and inductions is fast and efficient. We haven't used all the new oven features yet, but being able to air-fry frees up counter space taken up by a dedicated air-fryer. We also were able to get cabinet storage space back as we gave away all of our old aluminum skillets and pans.

I bought this Frigidaire induction stove after looking at reviews from Consumers' Reports and others. It was rated higher than all other induction stoves except for one that costs more than twice what the Frigidaire costs. I am very happy with my purchase. The burners heat very quickly, and a big plus is the ability to simmer at a very low temperature, which my old glass-top range refused to do. The oven preheats at least twice as fast as my old oven, plus it air fries, does bread proofing, and comes with a meat thermometer.

We™™ve had our kitchen aid induction range for a couple weeks now, and it has performed very well. The induction works perfect and heats up as fast as gas! The oven has some neat features and I™™m looking forward to trying them all out. The slow cooker feature was pretty awesome last week. The controls are very intuitive and it is easy to use. Installation was easy and it looks terrific in our kitchen. Cooking via the probe is essential for some meats. Our oven didn™™t seem to come with a probe, thought I am mildly suspicious that the installers left it in the box and carted it away. We spent well over a thousand dollars on this thing and a $15 probe is left out? Hopefully that was a mistake. Otherwise, please fix that Frigidaire.
