Really like our new 16 cubic ft upright freezer! It replaces a similar one we had for years, and I appreciate the improvements. Shelves are not as deep, so things are easier to find. There are several options for shelf placement so I can arrange things for our usual items, and the air circulation seems to be much better than the old model.

Got this as additional freezer space for the basement and it's been working out very well. Set the dial to the middle and it has been holding at -6° on average. Doesn't make much noise at all, and the back, sides, & top are always cool to the touch, so this unit doesn't produce much heat while working.So far it has been a great buy, will update after Year 1.

This upright freezer is a replacement for my 14 year old chest freezer, which is still working. I had it moved to my basement. I wanted a freezer that I didn™™t have to defrost on a regular basis. I also wanted a deep freezer that I didn™™t have to dig through to find the item that I needed. With this upright freezer I can organize everything on shelves and know exactly where something is as soon as I open the door. No more digging around to the bottom any longer. This upright freezer fits every need that I have. It keeps everything deeply frozen without all of the ice crystal buildup that a chest freezer gets. The compressor is super quiet and sometimes I wonder if it™™s even working. But there is a bright green light at the bottom of the freezer outside right underneath the door that lets me know that it is still keeping my food frozen until I need it. Plus I love having that bright green light to use as my night light in my mud room where the freezer is located.

After 20 years, my old Woods upright garage freezer gave up the ghost, so it was time for a new one. I was surprised how quiet and smooth this 16 cu. ft. Frigidaire Freezer runs and I especially like the Factory Recommended Dial Setting that is a true set it and forget it. The Shelves are adjustable enough to maximize capacity and it holds just as much as the old 20 cu. ft. freezer did. The door opened in the opposite direction I needed, but it only took me 20 minutes to reverse it so it didn't hit the wall every time I opened it. Oh, did I mention how whisper quiet it is? Yes, it runs super quiet and the only way I know it's working is that the solid bright green LED light at the bottom is on. This Freezer is the real deal and it doesn't take up very much valuable space in the garage. Life is Good!! Thanks for your time, Claydog.

Found this freezer at home depot with a discount of almost 200 dollars. Great price for such a large and economical stand up. Also got deferred financing with up to pay interest free for six months. Helped a lot to spread out charges. The freezer is large with doors that can be changed to open left or right. The green light constantly shown on the floor it sits on shows you that it is on and working as it should. I feel quite pleased. A brand also you can trust.

So far, so good. The freezer is roomy and quiet. Keeps my food frozen evenly, even with the fluctuating temperature in the basement. Previous freezer sweated with changing temps, causing ice build_up. I don't have that problem with this model.

It is what I hoped for when I ordered it, sight unseen. It is roomy, shelves can be arranged to suit my needs, appears to be easy to clean. I ordered the stainless finish and it looks like the pictures, so I'm satisfied (my kitchen is mostly all stainless steel). Seems to be doing a good job keeping things frozen. I've only had it a few weeks so I hope it continues to perform as I hoped.

I never owned an upright , self defrosting , garage freezer. I had a small chest freezer that died after 3 years. I couldn™™t reach the bottom and frozen food rad hard to locate and remove from the chest. The new upright freezer is easy to get to, things are all in plain view, and hold much more frozen food. And I don™™t have to defrost it! I should have bought the new freezer many years ago!

When our old freezer died we researched replacement models for a reliable freezer that had dimensions allowing it to be placed in our basement. This model was narrow enough to get into the basement. And it has about 15% larger capacity than our old one. I™™ve been closely monitoring the temperature with a wireless thermometer and I am very pleased with the narrow temperature fluctuation around our desired temperature. So far totally frost free. Very quiet operation.
